Yes — a credit card is required to start your trial via Stripe. You won't be charged until the 3-day trial ends. Cancel anytime before that with no charge.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan? +
Yes. You can change your plan at any time through the billing portal inside the app. Upgrades are prorated immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
What happens when my trial ends? +
Your card is automatically charged for the plan you selected. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. Cancel anytime from the billing portal. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.
What are "platforms"? +
Platforms are the analytical modules inside Aftermath Analytics — Strategy Lab, Trading Journal, Fear & Greed Index, Fair Value Labs, CyclePilot, Thesis Engine, Market Dashboard, Macro Matrix, Market Time Machine, Multi-Ticker Lab, Intraday Lab, Breadth Matrix, Analog Charts, Options Flow, and Quant Insights. Basic users get Strategy Lab, Trading Journal, and the Fear & Greed Index. Pro users add Fair Value Labs, CyclePilot, Thesis Engine, Market Dashboard, Macro Matrix, Market Time Machine, Intraday Lab, and Multi-Ticker Lab (up to 25 tickers per run, 10 runs/month). Quant users get all 11 platforms plus Breadth Matrix, Analog Charts, Options Flow, and Quant Insights — with Multi-Ticker Lab expanded to 200 tickers per run and 100 runs/month.
What's the difference between backtest engines? +
Backtest engines are the pattern-matching models inside Strategy Lab. Basic includes 2 engines (Percent Move, MA Cross). Pro unlocks 15 engines covering reversals, sector spreads, breadth events, earnings, rate cuts, intraday signals, and more. Quant unlocks all 25 engines including advanced valuation, macro, seasonal, IV skew, and volatility models.
Do you offer refunds? +
Refunds within the first 7 days are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on platform usage. If you haven't used the platform, we're happy to make it right. If significant usage has occurred (credits consumed, trades logged, etc.), refunds may not be available. After 7 days, all sales are final. If you experience technical issues, reach out — we'll work with you.
Can I use this for my newsletter, YouTube, or signal service? +
All subscription plans (Basic, Pro, Quant) are for personal, non-commercial use only. If you want to publish, distribute, or monetize content using our backtest results, charts, or data — including newsletters, YouTube, Discord bots, signal services, or embedded apps — you need a Commercial API License. Contact us for API pricing and early adopter rates.
